Czech Days in Tabor, South Dakota

Summer is finally here and I’m just as excited as anyone for warm weather, flip flops and barbeques. As fun as all my normal summer festivities are, it’s nice to switch it up and have a change of pace because lets face it, you can only eat so many hot dogs and go to the pool so many times. With so many fun events in South Dakota it’s easy to have a fun and exciting summer and get out of your normal summer routine. Czech Days in Tabor S.D. is a great way to get the whole family out for a new experience and get out of that summer rut.

Czech Days is held on July 17, 18, and 19. This means three full days of fun-filled events, amazing food, and good people. On Thursday, July 17, check out the craft fair, baseball game, and fireworks show. Friday is full of events including a giant parade, talent contest, concerts, and even a polka dance off contest!  Wrap up all your fun on Saturday with another long list of events including a Kolache baking demonstration, pedal tractor pull, and beseda dancers. Don’t forget to watch the crowing of the Czech Days prince, princess and queen and attend the royalty coronation ball!

Try something new this summer and check out Czech days for a fun, exiting, and even educational experience. Try new foods and participate in the long lists of events each day – Czech Days will be sure to provide a great summer get away for the whole family!
