At Pioneer Auto Show, we are very excited to hear that Antiques Roadshow is coming to Rapid City. We want to remind South Dakota visitors that we also have a great collection of antiques and collectibles at our museum in Murdo, S.D., which is two hours east of Rapid City on Interstate 90. You'll find everything from vintage cars to retro pinball machines to an 1880 Regina Music Box at our Murdo museum. We're a family attraction, complete with a kids' treasure hunt, gift shop and old-school diner. We are also home to a famous Zeitner rock, gem and fossil collection containing hundreds of rarities you won't see anywhere else. Be sure stop in Murdo during your family vacation to South Dakota this summer. Visit us online at http://www.pioneerautoshow.com/.

Hi there Pamela,
Thanks for following and commenting on our blog. However, this is the South Dakota Department of Tourism's blog, and we were only promoting the event and the ability for interested persons to apply for tickets. We don't have any control over PBS, SDPB, or Antiques Roadshow. Perhaps you can submit your question and concern to them via their "contact us" page at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/contactus.html.

Thank you!

I have had a family emergency and have not been able to submit an application for tickets to the Rapid City Antique Show until this AM 04/17/12. I realize the cutoff date was last night at midnight, however I was hoping you would make an exception for me. I desperately have wanted to attend and circumstances have not allowed me to do it until today. I am less than 12 hours late. Please consider this sincere request. I have a medival sword purchased at Bannermans in New York in the 1950's. I have no idea what it is worth, but it is very interesting and no antique dealers in our area can tell me anything about it.
Thank you for your consideration . I am disabled and am unable to get to any other show.
